Philippine-incorporated fintech firm BlockShoals Technologies, Inc. has officially joined FinTech Alliance PH, according to a company announcement.

Operational Framework and Partnership
BlockShoals operates as an approved Crypto Asset Intermediary (CAI) under the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Strategic Sandbox (StratBox) framework.
Under the current structure, BlockShoals serves as the locally registered and regulated entity providing Binance products and services in the Philippines.
The company maintains local regulatory responsibilities, user-facing operations, and compliance obligations, while global partner Binance delivers technical infrastructure and operational support.
Regulatory Background
Institutionalized under SEC Memorandum Circular No. 9, Series of 2024, the StratBox framework is administered by the SEC’s PhiliFintech Innovation Office (PhiliFINNO).
The regulatory tool permits entities to test financial products and services within a controlled live environment.
FinTech Alliance PH represents over 100 corporate members that handle more than 95 percent of retail digital financial transactions in the Philippines.
